We sudden stumbled upon this place one afternoon and were completely taken by this hidden gem. The service and the food here is top notch! We enjoyed a lovely lunch of chilly momos and got the thali (chicken and lamb) . We truly enjoyed our lunch and went back for more for a birthday dinner. Great service by restaurant manager Ramesh for being accommodating and lovely service from the staff. Once again we truly enjoyed our meals here . Tried the sharing platter, chilly momos , jhol momos , chicken chowmein , chilly chicken , tiger prawns tandoori, macha fish platter and some more items including the Bhuttan! Thali’s is a must try (also very filling)!
We had a business dinner here on a Thursday night. Wasn’t that busy, got a quieter table. Food is authentic, and staff is polite. Loved the onion bhaji, prawns from the platter. Momos were great. Overall a tummy full meal, guaranteed burps. We needed with hot gajar ka halwa with ice-cream, it was the show stopper for sure. 100% recommended.

We came here to celebrate our friend’s Birthday. Even though from outside it looks quite small but inside it was quite spacious. Beautiful food , gentle atmosphere, excellent service, not too expensive . For a little local restaurant absolutely top end in every respect. A real gem , visit if you want to see how it should be done.We loved it. We’ll be back !

We went there last night amazing truly the best authentic Nepali food we have tested in UK. The flavors were rich, good portion, reasonable price, the ambiance and the hospitality made me feel right at home. We will be coming back for more! Highly recommended!
26/11/2022 Update. Lovely simple Nepalese restaurant with a lovely ambience serving nice authentic cuisine. Good staff, great service and reasonable prices. We ate off the set menu at 13:00PP, good value although it limits the choice significantly. All meals were good, both in size and flavours. Karahai chicken was so good, full of flavour with a good kick. As always, drinks are pricey but still a good night.
We were hunting for some good authentic Nepalese cuisine and came across this place via our search and we are glad we stumbled upon Namaste Gurkha. We visited during lunch, on a weekend and the place was nice, cozy and quiet, so we could really enjoy our meal. We ordered the sadeko momos (recommended to us), the meat platter, calamari and chi. chowmein. We were served and welcomed by Ramesh, who was truly professional, polite and welcoming. He had good knowledge of the dishes they served, his recommendation of the momos was out of the world and it was delicious and packed full of flavour. All the other dishes, were great too and really yummy! The only area of improvement would be the calamari as it was a bit chewy. Ramesh served us well and also helped us capture the memory of dining in this gem of a restaurant. We'll definitely be back and look forward to tasting the other delicious items on your menu. The ambience and service was top notch too and that's a lethal combination when the food, service and ambience are 5 quality. Keep it up!!!!
